Wavecom Partners with Acal to Extend Presence in Northern Europe

Wavecom SA (NASDAQ: WVCM; Euronext: AVM; ISIN: FR0000073066) and the Acal Group (LSE: ACL) today announced a distribution partnership covering the four Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. According to the terms of the agreement, Acal will provide sales and distribution services, as well as customer support, for Wavecom’s line of integrated GSM/GPRS modules and modems.

The partnership extends Wavecom’s reach throughout Northern Europe, providing OEMs and device manufacturers in the region access to a broad range of industry-leading wireless technology solutions. Acal will especially focus marketing of Wavecom products on the machine-to-machine “M2M” market.
