Wavecom's Quadband WISMO Modules Selected By Curitel Communications, Inc.

Leading Korean Handset Vendor Targets International Markets.

Wavecom SA (Nasdaq: WVCM; Euronext Nouveau Marché: 7306), the world’s number one provider of integrated wireless modules, today announced the signature of a contract with the Korean handset vendor Curitel Communications, Inc.

Under the terms of the contract, Wavecom is to provide its quadband WISMO modules to Curitel for integration into the company’s new range of sophisticated GSM/GPRS multi-media mobile phones, which are to be launched in the Chinese and US markets in the third quarter of 2003. Wavecom will also provide extensive integration support.

Wavecom’s quadband WISMO products are the only integrated wireless modules on the market to cover all four GSM/GPRS frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). The WISMO modules offer a complete range of fully integrated GSM/GPRS voice and data options, in the form of a single, compact component.
