Wavecom Opens Korean Office

Second branch office in Asia aims at booming Korean demand.

Wavecom Asia Pacific Limited, the Hong Kong-based regional headquarters of Wavecom S.A. (NASDAQ: WVCM; Nouveau Marché: WAVECOM), a leading developer of digital wireless standard modules (WISMO™), today announced the opening on 3 January 2001 of a branch office in Seoul, Korea. The new facility, Wavecom Asia Pacific's second branch in Asia after the opening of its Tokyo branch, is headed by Ms Song Mee Hee, formerly Sales and Marketing Manager for Korea and Oceania, based in Hong Kong.
