The FTSE eTX All-Share Index Welcomes Wavecom

Wavecom S.A. (Nasdaq : WVCM ; Nouveau Marché : WAVECOM), a leading developer of digital wireless standard modules (WISMO ™), announces that it has been included, as of October 2nd 2000, in the newly developed FTSE eTX All-Share Index.

The FTSE eTX All-Share Index is part of the FTSE eTX Index Series, made up of 11 new indexes created by FTSE and including, for the first time, pan-European companies classified in the Information Technology economic group and the retailer e-commerce sub-sector (B2C). As Wavecom is a constituent in the FTSE eTX All-Share Index, it automatically becomes included in other indexes calculated within the FTSE eTX Index Series.
