The review process runs size and liquidity analysis on the investment universe to ensure that the index can be viewed as representative of the large to mid-capitalisation stocks trades on Euronext.

"The inclusion, in May 2000, of the Wavecom security in the ParisBourse's IT.CAC 50 technology index, composed of 50 of France's most actively-traded technology stocks, provides investors and finance-industry professionals with benchmarks that reflect the importance of the French New Economy", comments Michel Alard, Chairman of Wavecom. "Belonging to the Next 150 stock index now classifies us among the most representative European stocks. The classification by sector that is shortly to be implemented will make it even simpler to interpret the performances of stocks, and we'll make the most of this new opportunity to consolidate our technological leadership".
