Wavecom University graduates first class in the US

Research Triangle Park, NC (USA)-December 13, 2006
Wavecom, Inc. today completed its first U.S. session of Wavecom University - graduating nine new Open AT® experts. The session was the second in the Americas region and marks the ongoing extension of this important service to M2M, industrial and automotive application developers in North and South America.

Wavecom Field Application Engineering Manager Brad Teeter expects the offering to accelerate the adoption of Open AT® as the standard platform for M2M, industrial and automotive applications in the region. "We're thrilled to offer this service to our customers to help them fully understand the robust capabilities of Open AT® for embedding native applications directly on our leadership family of Wireless CPUs," Teeter says.

Response from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. All anticipate significant savings both in their development cycles and throughout the extended lives of their applications.

Future Wavecom University courses are already scheduled in the Americas as early as next week and Wavecom plans to offer the courses quarterly beginning in 2007.
