Enter 5G RedCap. 5G RedCap (Reduced Capacity) devices are positioned to help OEMs currently using 4G LTE CAT1 to CAT 4 devices. These OEMs need more capabilities than devices for mMTC (Massive Machine Type Communications), but less capabilities than eMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband) devices.
