Sierra Wireless AirCard® 775 EDGE PC card now available in France through Bouygues Telecom

Sierra Wireless AirCard 775 will give mobile professionals in France fast data access, freedom to roam

Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR - TSX: SW) announced today that the AirCard® 775 wireless wide area network card is now available from Bouygues Telecom. With quad-band operation for global roaming, the AirCard 775 will provide mobile users with data rates up to three times faster than on GPRS networks, providing quick, wireless connectivity to the Internet, e-mail and corporate applications. The AirCard 775 is available from Bouygues Telecom for use on its new EDGE network for 169€. With the co-branding partnership, the AirCard 775 is called "Carte Bouygues Telecom Digital Haut Débit" in France.

About the size of a credit card, the Sierra Wireless AirCard 775, a multi-slot Class 12 EDGE PC card, is the newest addition to Sierra Wireless' award winning AirCard line of wireless network cards. Ideal for mobile professionals who are heavy data users, the AirCard 775 allows users to transfer data at speeds averaging up to 200 kilobits per second (kbps). The quad-band operation (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) also enables worldwide roaming on EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, allowing travelers to access data wirelessly in more than 70 countries with GPRS service, and 25 countries where EDGE is available.
