AirCard 300 Updating drivers in Windows 2000

Resolution:
To update the AirCard 300 driver in Windows 2000 use the following steps.
- Start the machine with the card in.
- Highlight My Computer and right mouse click on it. Select Properties.
- Click on the Hardware tab and click on the Device Manager button.
- Scroll down the list of devices to the Network Adapters section. Click on the + sign and proceed to Step 5. If the device is not in Network Adapters check for an Other Devices section and click on the + sign.
- Right click the Sierra Wireless AirCard 300 CDPD and select Properties
- Click on the Driver Tab.
- Select "update driver".
- Select Next from Welcome to the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard.
- Select Display a list on known and drivers for this device so that I can choose a specific driver. Click on Next.
- A window labeled Select Network Adapter will open. Select Have Disk and click on Browse. Select the \AC300_NB_R120\Win2k directory and click on netac300ac.inf.(This directory can be found in the folder created during unzip of AC300_NB_R120.exe.)
- Click Next to Start Device Driver Installation
- Click Yes to continue installation when Digital Signature Not Found screen is presented.
- Click Finish to complete Upgrade Device Driver Wizard.
- You should now see a screen indicating that the Driver version is 1.2.0.1. This means the driver update was successful.
