AirCard 300/350: Registered but unable to browse websites

The part number is located on the back of the AirCard.
Symptoms
Watcher indicates the AirCard is registered with the CDPD network but user is unable to browse websites with Internet Explorer or Netscape.
Resolution
The following procedures apply for Watcher 1.2.0.
1. Close the Watcher program
2. Launch the Toolkit program
Click on Account 1 tab
Verify the NEI (IP address) and DNS address of the AirCard. A common reason for being unable to browse is due to an incorrect DNS address that was entered in Wireless Expert.
DNS addresses for the following CDPD Carriers are listed below:

3. Configure the Internet Explorer to access Internet using a LAN connection instead of a dial-up connection.
4. Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections
5. Click to select Never dial a connection radio button.
6. Go to LAN Settings and click to select Automatically detect settings check box. Ensure Use automatic configuration script & Use a proxy server check boxes are UNCHECKED.
7. If still cannot access the Internet web, call the service provider and inquire if the provided NEI IP address has any restrictions to Internet access.
