ID: JD92100A COMPAQ Pocket PC - Dial Up Connection Failure
This document covers the following products:
Aircard 300/350 - part number (1200046 and 1200104)
The part number is located on the back of the card
Symptoms
Wireless Expert fails (red x) to Establish Dial-Up Networking Connection on the setup test.
Resolution
- Go to Start>System>Connections.
- In Connections, select Dialing Locations tab.
- Click on Dialing Patterns ?
- All fields should be as follows:
For local calls, type: 9,G For Long Distance calls, type: 9,1FG For International calls, type: 9,011,EFG
- Exit normally back to the desktop by pressing the OK button
- Reset the Pocket PC
- Run Wireless Expert again and it should pass the Dial Up Connection test.
