Sierra Wireless AirCards® support all major operating systems available on the Personal Computer with off the shelf support and provide service engagements for embedded OS support. Deep integration with each of these operating systems ensures Sierra Wireless modems are dependable and perform for a variety of wireless communication needs. In the Personal Computer markets Sierra Wireless supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X, and Linux.

Sierra Wireless is working closely with Microsoft to ensure all our current devices work on laptops with XP, Vista and future OS revisions. The following table illustrates the Sierra Wireless modem support available for each of the Windows personal computer operating systems.

Sierra Wireless Mac OS X Support
Apple users are demanding the latest connectivity options and Sierra Wireless has responded with Mac OS X support for a wide variety of AirCard® products. Apple has recently introduced Native Wireless WAN support and Sierra Wireless has support for their native WWAN solution. Our software professional services team can derive support from our embedded modules off the shelf support and enable the AirCards below for Microsoft embedded XP or different versions of Linux or other operating systems.
