Welcome to Developer's Central, the one-stop information source for developers building wireless applications for wide area networks. From here you can download SDKs for the Sierra Wireless CDMA, GPRS and CDPD product lines. In addition, you can access the Developer's Forum and share information with a community of like-minded individuals.

The latest GPRS and CDMA SDKs are comprehensive packages for C++ developers. Support for the major Windows Notebook and CE platforms is provided. As a bonus, a separate GPRS SDK package is now available for Visual Basic developers writing applications for Windows Notebook platforms. Regardless of your choice, you will find a wealth of documentation and sample applications. In no time you will have your wireless application up and running.

Licensing Agreement

Although SDK downloads are free, part of the installation procedure requires developers to accept the license agreement and use Sierra Wireless logos in their applications. Further information is outlined in the Logo Guide included within the SDK.

SDK Registration in 2 Easy Steps

Step 1 - Tell Us About Yourself

You will be required to fill in mandatory fields such as your name, company and email address. In addition to this, we would ask that you provide information such as your development platform, preferred wireless technologies and the development tools that you are currently using.

After successfully completing the SDK Application Form, an email containing your Login Password will be sent to you.

Step 2 - Login to the Developer's Central

After receiving your Login Password by email, you will be ready to use the tools available to our Registered Users. These tools include the SDK software downloads, a Forum for discussing development issues and various other options.

You can login from the Welcome Page using the link provided there, or you can simply go to http://www.sierrawireless.com/developers/index.asp.
