our continuing efforts to provide best in class products, Sierra Wireless is announcing the end-of-life of the AirLink™ Raven 3200 series modems for the following configurations: C3211 CDMA (Sprint, Verizon) and E3214 EDGE (AT&T). The new AirLink Raven XT line of intelligent wireless modems has been designed to replace the Raven 3200 product line. For all affected models:

• Purchase orders will be accepted until August 31, 2008
• Last shipments will be December 31, 2008

Sierra Wireless will provide existing Raven 3200 series customers with technical support on a reasonable commercial basis until December 31, 2011. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is no longer available.

Customers wishing to extend the life of an application that has integrated the Raven 3200 series modems may procure sufficient quantity of the product before the last purchase date to support projected future needs.

Customers can also migrate to the new Raven XT wireless gateways. The Raven XT includes all of the functionality of the Raven and adds several significant improvements. Utilizing a new, more powerful processor, the Raven XT is smaller, smarter and even more robust than the Raven. The Raven XT also includes a mini-USB interface, increasing connection options and enabling direct access to the core radio module for improved diagnostics and troubleshooting.
