In our continuing efforts to provide best in class products, Sierra Wireless is announcing the end-of-life of the AirLink™ Raven X HSDPA gateway, model H4222-C for AT&T.   The new AirLink Raven X HSUPA wireless gateway has been designed to replace this product.

The specific SKUs affected by this notice and their respective replacements are:

Due to the limited supply of HSDPA radio modules, quantity is limited and orders will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Sierra Wireless will provide existing Raven X HSDPA customers with support and technical assistance via phone or email on a reasonable commercial basis until December 31, 2011.

Customers wishing to extend the life of an application that has integrated the Raven X HSDPA modems may procure sufficient quantity of the product before the last purchase date to support projected future needs. Customers can also migrate to the new Raven X HSUPA wireless gateway. The Raven X HSUPA includes all of the functionality of the Raven X HSDPA and adds several significant improvements. Raven X HSUPA provides faster upload and download speeds, and utilizes a receive diversity antenna for greater range and capability. The Raven X HSUPA is fully backward compatible with HSDPA networks, as well as other GSM technologies.
