The AT Commands Set provides the ability to enable wireless functionalities and to control modem behavior, following the specifications of the Hayes standard and of the 3GPP standard as defined by the ETSI (TS 27.005, TS 27.007). This AT Commands Set enables the management of generic modem features and ensures their interoperability. Examples of such features are Identification, Call management, Network status, Phonebook entries, SMS, SIM access, Audio quality or FAX capability.
Via AirPrime Management Services, you can send AT commands over the air to devices already deployed, enabling you to remotely change simple configurations for multiple devices.
Sierra Wireless also offers complementary AT Commands, enabling more advanced features. This Extended AT Commands set provides an easy and familiar way to manage enhanced features, such as:
