The Sierra Wireless line of in-vehicle gateways and routers are desiged to meet the needs of of any customer with a fleet of vehicles to manage. Our rugged platforms are ideal applications requiring 2-way data and location for various mobile applications like public safety, field service, mobile resource management and GPS tracking.  

All of our in-vehicle platforms are powered by ALEOSTM intelligence and supported by the AirLink™ line of management software. ALEOS enables a myriad of features that support GPS and mobile applications:

  • Multiple GPS engines
  • Various GPS types (NMEA, TAIP, etc)
  • Events Reporting
  • Remote Application Protocol (RAP) for integration with 3rd party GPS applications

New Feature: All of our in-vehicle platforms now feature support for the Garmin Fleet Management Interface (FMI). Integration with ALEOS facilitates a quicker path to market, enabling our AVL partners to get up and running with a robust AVL and job dispatch solution.
