Our Southern California office is home to approximately 100 Sierra Wireless employees. It is located in the city of Carlsbad - a unique coastal community located 35 miles north of San Diego and surrounded by mountains, lagoons and the Pacific Ocean. Carlsbad has more than seven miles of beautiful beaches and a thriving local economy that includes a healthy tourism base and features high-tech, multi-media, health care, and biotechnology corporations. It is also the home of two world-class golf resorts and over 30 golf industry businesses. Carlsbad is typically warm with an average rainfall of only 10 inches (250 mm) per year.

Our other California office is located in Newark, CA and is home to approximately 45 Sierra Wireless employees. Newark is conveniently located at the south eastern end of San Francisco Bay – close to San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco. The area is well known for its flourishing high-tech industry, the Silicon Valley.
